Forms of a book
Uniform
2010
Uniform delves into the theoretical concepts of form within our daily lives, exploring its manifestation through a unique book design. The book itself becomes a tangible representation of form on a material level.
Consisting of four individual sections, the book is ingeniously connected using an accordion sleeve as a spine. The folds within the sleeve serve as both dividers and content lists for each section, allowing for easy navigation and organisation. Unlike traditional books, Uniform lacks a formal cover. Instead, the title remains concealed until the first page is intentionally folded, adding an element of surprise and intrigue to the reading experience.
